Each board is hand-planed to create characteristic parallel lines running along the grain.

This process gives the wood depth, a subtle relief, and a unique play of light that changes throughout the day.

The surface is richly textured and full of natural irregularities.

The handcrafted finish highlights the authentic character of the wood, revealing its grain patterns and tonal variations.

Irregularly finished side and end bevels give each board its own individual character, creating the impression of a floor shaped by time.

Raya fits beautifully into wabi-sabi, modern rustic, organic modern,

and timeless interiors where the nobility of natural materials and artisan craftsmanship are valued.

We offer both engineered flooring (suitable for underfloor heating) and solid wood flooring.
